Hogan Lake trails in primo winter condition Post date: 12-12, Valley Springs, CA. Several guys have been working their butts off building new trails up at Hogan, and by the looks of the groups showing up to ride on the weekends, it appears to finally be paying off after all these years. Jeff and I finished off Nate's Trail with a section we call Happy Ending, and we saw Brian jogging out to do a little work, too. So, if you haven't been lately, now's the time. Rain won't hurt these trails. |

Tips on stuff. Learn about giardia: ...ewwwwww. Sunscreen: (from Playboy- see? I do read the articles): Put it on 15-30 minutes before exposure. Sunscreen takes that long to absorb fully into the skin and start working. And chances are you aren't slathering on enough. According to the American Academy of Dermatology, the average person needs one ounce- about enough to fill a shot glass- to cover the body entirely. Sunscreen may be slimy, but it's better than skin cancer. Germs: Germs per square inch on a toilet seat- 49. Germs per square inch on your office telephone- 25,127. Ewwwww. (From Maxim mazagine). Do you suck? Are you getting suck? Chain suck, that is. Suckulent article here: Or you could just ride a singlespeed. Problem solved!
